Lynell Agency (“Lynell Agency”, “we”, “us”) is a web design and Google Ads management agency based in Los Angeles, California. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers our website at www.lynellagency.com and the tools we use to manage Google Ads accounts for our clients.

In short: Any Google Ads data we receive is for Lynell Agency’s internal use only, to provide Google Ads management to the clients who authorized us. No third parties have access to it, and we never sell it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you email us or use the contact form on our site, we receive the details you provide: your name, business name, email address, your current website, what you need, and anything you write in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to prepare a quote or review.

Information from Google Ads accounts our clients connect

If you are a client and you choose to connect your Google Ads account, you authorize us through Google’s OAuth consent screen. With your permission we access data in the Google Ads accounts you grant us, such as account and campaign structure, ad groups, ads, keywords and search terms, budgets and bids, performance and cost reports, and conversion tracking data. We request only the access needed to manage and report on your advertising (the Google Ads API scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords).

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested in order to deliver and secure the site. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site. The sample websites shown in our Work section load fonts and photographs from third-party services such as Google Fonts and Unsplash, which receive standard request data when you open them.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide quotes.
  • To build, launch and maintain websites for clients.
  • To create, manage, optimize and report on Google Ads campaigns for clients who have authorized us to do so.
  • To keep our site and services secure and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. Information from Google Ads accounts is used internally by Lynell Agency only, to serve the client who authorized us and to provide their Google Ads management. We do not use it for advertising to you or anyone else, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy

Lynell Agency’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In line with those requirements:

  • We use data received from Google APIs only to provide and improve the user-facing advertising management and reporting features you have asked us for.
  • We do not transfer this data to third parties. It stays within Lynell Agency for internal use, except where we must disclose it to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with notice to you.
  • We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative consent for specific items, it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
  • We do not use this data to serve advertisements, and we do not sell it.

4. Internal use only, and no sharing

Google Ads account data is used only inside Lynell Agency, by the people who manage your account, for the sole purpose of serving you as a client and providing Google Ads management. No third party has access to it. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it or give it to advertisers, data brokers or anyone else.

Enquiry details you send through our site or by email may pass through the hosting and email providers we use to run the business, under terms that require them to protect it. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

5. Storage, security and retention

We keep information in access-controlled systems and limit access to the people who need it to deliver the services. Access credentials, such as OAuth tokens, are stored securely and used only for the accounts you have authorized. We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable business records. We keep Google Ads account data only while we are providing services to you, and we delete it within 30 days after you disconnect your account or end the engagement, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Revoke Google access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by emailing us. Once revoked, we can no longer access your Google Ads account.
  • Access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us. We will respond within 45 days.
  • If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the date above. If a change materially affects how we use Google user data, we will tell connected clients before it takes effect.
